Visualization of aura and chakras using medical imaging technology

Dr. Valerie Hunt used both psychics and modern medicine to investigate the aura in the 1970’s. At the University of California at Los Angeles, she attached EMG electrodes to chakra points. EMGs measure electrical energy in muscles much like EKGs measure heart electric activity. She found high-frequency electrical oscillations coming from the chakra points. Dr Hunt also used a psychic to observe changes in the subject's auric field while the chakras were electronically monitored. The psychic's observations of colour changes in the aura correlated exactly with the EMG electrode recordings. Hunt discovered that each colour of the aura was associated with a different wave pattern recorded at the chakra points on the skin of her subjects.

A method for visualizing auras based on Dr. Hunt’s work with Thelma Moss is called “Inneractive Aura Video Systems” made by Aura Video Technology.

Aura Video Technology is based on the correlation between biofeedback data and the emotional and energy states of a client. In order to make the client aware of these parameters, the science of biofeedback is used to measure and then display what may very well be unconscious psychophysiological parameters. The client may then become aware of the parameters and learn to change them.

Biofeedback can sometimes be too technical for people to understand. The developers of Aura Video Systems want to measure the data and present it in a colorful way that is easy to understand. GSR (galvanic skin response), for example, or Temp (temperature) are defined and displayed using color, pictures and visual images.

The temperature and electrodermal measurements are taken from several points on the left palm of a client. The data is analyzed by their computer software program, based on their own research and standard biofeedback technology. Their software includes their energy/aura/chakra research. All the information is presented to the client as a display of their aura and chakras, along with biofeedback graphs. The main difference from standard biofeedback is the use of colors and shapes and multimedia tools to display the feedback.

However, at this point of the aura and chakras, the technology is past conventional science. Health practitioners have worked with clairvoyants to correlate their data with aura-chakra states.
